Only a ‘small’ glass of wine after a suitably arty afternoon in the Walker Art Gallery, 2017

Hello!

I’m Sophie, an artist from Liverpool, UK. I graduated from University of Gloucestershire in 2006 with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Fine Art, and have dipped in and out of my creativity ever since.

This year I have turned a corner – mentally, spiritually, professionally – and I feel a renewed passion and motivation to follow my heart and express myself through the one constant that has prevailed through my life so far: art.

The biggest thing I miss about being in a studio environment is hearing the opinions of others on my work – I welcome all feedback and hope, even in this age of anonymity through social media, that visitors will leave comments on here which will open up a narrative and challenge my thought processes to help me to develop as an individual and as an artist.
